Temporary Staffing Service

Now available

WakeTemps began accepting departmental requests for temporary workers July 1. The program serves the campus community by enhancing the screening for temporary talent who may ultimately be hired to join the Wake Forest family.

We look forward to serving you, and welcome your ideas about how we can enhance the process. A brief class entitled "Introduction to WakeTemps" will be offered through the PDC and will explore the ways this new resource may fit a need in your department.

Discover Your Strengths

Tailored consulting sessions

Are you an Arranger, who enjoys fitting pieces together to find the best way to proceed? Or do you lead with Woo, and enjoy the challenge of meeting new people and winning them over? The Gallup Clifton StrengthsFinder can help you maximize your potential by helping you understand your Strengths and use them to deliver exceptional results. Highly-functioning individuals and teams use Strengths to focus on "what's right with people."

Interested in learning more? Contact Gallup Strengths Coach Carmen Canales at ccanales@wfu.edu to see how a Strengths session may be ideal for your next meeting or retreat.

Marketplace Notice

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act requires all employers to provide a written Notice of Coverage Options (referred to as the Markeplace Notice) to their employees with information about the health coverage options available through the Marketplaces. This important information can be found on the Human Resources website.

Seasonal Flu Shots

Wake Forest once again will offer faculty, staff, and retirees the opportunity to receive a free seasonal flu shot on campus. Please register or walk in, and bring your University ID.

2014 Holiday Schedule

The Reynolda Campus 2014 Holiday Schedule is now available. This schedule is posted to the Faculty and Staff Resources page of the HR website, along with additional resources for the campus community.

Adapting for Tomorrow
Departments or teams who are interested in looking at the past to plan for the future will benefit from the "Adapting for Tomorrow" session. Using the lens of Appreciative Inquiry, the session focuses on positive change and developing action-oriented goals. Contact the PDC for more information.

Volunteer OpportunitiesWake Forest participates in the Corporate Volunteers Program and the Senior Academy through the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce. We invite faculty and staff members to participate in these opportunities, which enable us to live Pro Humanitate in our local community. Learn how to volunteer by reviewing the information on the Human Resources website.

Electronic Personnel Action Form

The Electronic Personnel Action Form (EPAF) is an automated solution for departments who employ student workers. The EPAF replaces the paper Student Employment Action Form, and departments across campus are now using it to efficiently set up student workers in Banner and NOVAtime. If your department hires student workers, visit the EPAF community website to learn more.
